How the pendant works
Fleas and ticks are a concern for pets: a single tick can lay an average of 3,000 eggs in a day, and the diseases they transmit can do more harm than the bite itself.
A flea is about 243 times smaller than an average dog—like a grain of sand beside a beach volleyball. The pendant uses that size difference to its advantage.
A concentrated blend of essential oils inside the capsule is released gradually through SmartRelease, forming an invisible protective field around your pet without chemical pesticides or other harmful agents. Designed to protect pets from dangerous diseases and make prevention easier, healthier and more effective, the pendant lets you leave flea and tick worries behind for good.
Fleas and ticks locate animals through heat, breath, carbon dioxide and skin chemistry rather than sight. The tag releases oils into the surrounding air at a controlled, low concentration, overwhelming the parasites' ability to find a target. Like mosquito repellent on skin, this field keeps pests from finding your pet, but it does not wash off, need reapplying or coat the animal's skin.

The formulation contains six essential oils: citronella, cedarwood, lemongrass, peppermint, geranium and rosemary. They are highly concentrated and sealed in a coin-sized controlled-release housing. NaturShield™ slowly releases the oils without pesticides, synthetic compounds, preservatives or fillers.

From what age can it be used?

Can my dog swim with it?

Can children touch the pendant?
