Photochromic lenses do not switch instantly from clear to dark. Their tint changes gradually depending on the amount of UV light reaching the lens.

- 🏠 Indoors: Lenses generally remain relatively clear in low-UV environments.

Photochromic lens notice: tint depth and transition speed can vary depending on UV intensity, weather, temperature, season, time of day and location. Hats, helmets and other headgear may also create temporary differences in tint where parts of the lens receive different amounts of UV exposure.
